NEW MUSIC
Artist: Dead To Me
Album: Moscow Penny Ante
Genre: Melodic Punk Rock
Info: This is the 3rd full length and 5th overall release from these San Francisco punk juggernauts.
The album shows the 3rd lineup change for the band replacing Nathan Grice with guitarist & co-singer Sam Johnson (New Mexican Disaster Squad/VRGNS) and Ken Yamazaki (Enemy You/Western Addiction) and continues with founding vocalist/bassist Tyson "Chicken" Annicharico and drummer Ian Anderson.
This album features a return to roots for the band, with a sound more reminiscent of their 1st LP and less of the experimentation that appeared on their 2nd LP. While not quite on par with breathtaking quality of their freshman album 'Cuban Ballerina' it does seem to be a strong 2nd place (which is saying a lot).
Recommended for fans of: Cobra Skulls, One Man Army, Smoke Or Fire. Check out tracks: 1, 4-7, 9
